Payment & Ownership

Deposit

A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your spot. Work and design will ONLY START once this deposit is cleared.

Ownership

Full ownership transfers to the commissioner only upon final payment.

Abandonment

If there is no payment activity for 30 days after completion, the fursuit is considered abandoned. TropicalFrostStudios retains the suit and the deposit, and reserves the right to resell the item.

Payment Methods

    Method A (Standard):
  • $50 initial deposit; Another 30% after base completion; Final 30% before shipping.
    • Method B (Installments):
  • $50 initial deposit; spread to 6 months, 1 year or 2 years taking an account on inflation of 3% per year. Exchange rate would be based on MYR.

Copyright & Reselling

Customer Artwork

If there is any artwork provided by the commissioner for printing (e.g., on a mug or canvas), it remains the sole property of the original artist/commissioner.

Usage

TropicalFrostStudios acts only as a printing service for these items. We will not store your digital files long-term, and we will never use your artwork for commercial purposes or resale.

Reselling

The commissioner has the right to sell their TropicalFrostStudios fursuit provided that the Character Rights (If had one) and Certificate of Authenticity are passed down to the new owner.

Returns, Refunds & Warranty

Warranty

We offer a 6-month priority repair guarantee. If any part falls apart on its own (maker error), return it to us and we will fix it for free, including shipping costs.
After the 6 months, Minor repairs are applausable and shipping fee would be paid by the commissioner.

Turnover time for Simple/Partial

Completion usually takes 2–3 months. If production exceeds 5 months, a full refund is available. However, the suit would still be completed and reserves the right to sell them.

Turnover time for Complex

Completion takes an additional 1–2 months. If production exceeds 8 months, a full refund is available. However, the suit would still be completed and reserves the right to sell them.

Affiliate Program

If you refer a client to us:

  • Option 1: Receive 5% of their total commission price in cash (paid after they secure their commission).
  • Option 2: Receive 10% of their commission value as a discount on your next fursuit.

Example: If a friend buys a $2,000 suit, you get $100 cash OR $200 off your next order!
